Options

How it works

  1. Set the width and height. 1080 by 1080 is already filled in.
  2. Pick Crop to fill for an exact size, or Fit inside to keep the whole picture.
  3. Choose your photos, up to 20 at a time. Processing starts with the settings you selected.
  4. Download each photo, or all of them as one zip file.

More free tools are on the image tools page. After resizing, check your alt text with the alt text checker.

Frequently asked questions

How do I resize an image to 1080x1080?

Choose your photo, keep the size at 1080 by 1080 and leave Crop to fill selected. The tool crops from the centre so the result is exactly 1080 by 1080 pixels.

What is the difference between crop to fill and fit inside?

Crop to fill cuts the edges so the picture fills the exact size you chose. Fit inside keeps the whole picture and makes it as large as will fit in the box, so one side can end up smaller than you typed.

Will small photos be enlarged?

Not unless you turn on Allow enlarging. Enlarging a small photo makes it look soft, so by default the tool keeps small photos at their own size.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Resizing happens in your browser. Nothing you choose is sent to Neartool. You can check this in your browser's network tab.

Does resizing remove location data?

Yes. The resized copy is drawn fresh, so it carries no EXIF data such as GPS. To see what the original contained, use the EXIF viewer and remover.
